External Partner Portal

Vintaflow gives supply chain partners a limited, focused view of your data without granting them access to the full application.

What the Portal Is

The external portal is a stripped-down surface for partners such as freight and logistics providers. It has no sidebar and no account switching - just the screens that partner needs.

Two areas are available:

  • Inventory - stock levels and forecast for the warehouses the partner is connected to
  • Order Details - a single order, opened directly by link

Signing In

External users sign in with the same login page as everyone else. Vintaflow routes them to the partner portal automatically based on their user type, so there is nothing extra for them to do.

Inventory

The portal's inventory screen has two tabs:

Current Inventory

Shows what is physically in the warehouse now:

  • ID - inventory record identifier
  • UPC
  • Product
  • Variants - number of variants tracked
  • On Hand - current quantity

Forecasted Orders

Shows a rolling 13-week projection, with one column per week. Use this to see what is coming and plan capacity ahead of time.

Choosing a Warehouse

Use the warehouse selector at the top of the page to switch between the warehouses the partner has access to. Search, Filters, Export, and Refresh all work as they do elsewhere in Vintaflow.

Order Details

Partners reach an individual order through a direct link, typically from a notification. The order detail view shows the order summary, its line items, logistics and shipping information, attachments, and history - the same view internal users see, limited to the orders that partner is entitled to.

Controlling What Partners See

Partner access is granted through your supply chain connections, not by hand-editing each screen. The relevant permissions are:

Permission

Grants

Read Orders

Visibility of orders on the connection

Read Inventories

Visibility of inventory levels

Import Orders

The ability to upload orders

See Supply Chain Management for how to set these when approving a connection request.

A partner sees only the accounts and warehouses their connection covers. Adding a new warehouse to a connection makes it visible to them immediately.
