  2. View the list of background jobs

Job Information

Each job displays:

  • ID - Unique job identifier

  • Resource - The specific data being processed
  • Created At - When the job started
  • Ended At - When the job finished
  • Status - Current state

Job Statuses

Jobs have a full lifecycle, including the ability to be rolled back:

Status

Meaning

Pending

Queued, not started yet

In Progress

Currently running

Completed

Finished successfully

Failed

Stopped with errors

Revert

Marked to be rolled back

Reverting

Rollback in progress

Reverted

Rollback finished - the imported data has been removed

Revert Failed

The rollback itself failed

Reverting a Job

If an import brought in the wrong data, you do not have to unpick it by hand. Vintaflow can roll the whole job back.

  1. Open the job from the list
  2. Choose the Revert action
  3. Confirm

The job moves to Reverting, then Reverted once the imported records have been removed.

Reverting undoes every record the job created or changed. If other work has happened on those records since the import, review the impact before reverting.

If a revert ends in Revert Failed, the rollback was incomplete. Contact your administrator rather than retrying blindly - some records may already have been removed.

Viewing Job Details

Click any job row to see:

  • Complete job information
  • Processing summary
  • Error details, if any
  • The list of failed records with reasons

Filtering Jobs

  1. Use Search to find jobs by ID or resource
  2. Click Filters for advanced options:
    • Filter by job type
    • Filter by status
    • Filter by date range
  3. Click Apply or Reset

Handling Failed Records

When a job has failed records:

  1. Open the job details
  2. Review the failed records list
  3. Check the error message for each
  4. Fix the source data
  5. Re-import the corrected records

Failed records do not affect the ones that succeeded. A job with 8 of 500 records failing has still imported 492.

Tips

  • Check Jobs after every bulk import
  • Jobs run in the background - you can keep working while they process
  • Large imports are handled in batches
  • Prefer Revert over manual cleanup when an entire import was wrong

  • Import Data - running the imports that create these jobs
