# Export Data

Learn how to export data from Vintaflow to CSV or Excel files.

## What You Can Export

| Area | Exports |
|------|---------|
| **Products** | Your product catalog |
| **Orders** | Orders from Review or Tracking |
| **Inventory** | Stock levels and forecast |
| **Warehouses** | The warehouse list |
| **Consolidations** | Order and product groups |
| **Reports** | Report results |

Partners can also export inventory from the [External Partner Portal](https://help.vintaflow.com/en/article/external-partner-portal-hv6gpt/).

## Export Process

1. Navigate to the data you want
2. Apply any filters
3. Click **Export**
4. Choose the format and columns
5. Click **Export** to download

## Export Options

### File Format

* **CSV** - simple and universal
* **Excel** (.xlsx) - keeps formatting

### Column Selection

Tick the columns to include. The order they appear in the list is the order they appear in the file.

### Filtered vs All Data

|| Exports respect your active filters. If a filter is applied, only the matching rows are exported - clear your filters first if you want everything.

## Exporting Orders

1. Go to **Orders** > **Review** or **Orders** > **Tracking**
2. Select the direction - Inbound or Outbound
3. Apply filters if needed
4. Click **Export**, choose format and columns, then confirm

## Exporting Inventory

1. Go to **Inventory** and select a warehouse
2. Apply filters if needed
3. Click **Export**

Inventory exports can include the forecast weeks as well as current levels.

## Exporting Reports

1. Go to **Reports** and pick a tab
2. Set up your filters and generate the report
3. Click **Export**

## Export Tips

* Large exports take a moment to generate, and the file downloads when it is ready
* Use filters to produce focused files rather than exporting everything and cutting it down afterwards
* An export makes a good starting point for a re-import - the column headers already match, so it maps cleanly to a template. See [Import Data](https://help.vintaflow.com/en/article/import-data-o8ruh9/)
